Privacy policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Cubilani collects through cubilani.com, why, who it’s shared with, and the choices you have. Cubilani is a brand and web design studio led by Lucas Cubillos Mialani. I’m also the person responsible for your information, and you can reach me at lucas@cubilani.com.
What I collect
- When you book a call: your name, email, business name, team size, what has changed and when you’d like it ready, and, if you choose, your current website, what you need (a website, branding or both), how you heard about Cubilani (and who sent you, if someone did), and the time you pick for the call. If you book after clicking one of my ads, the form also records which ad and campaign you came from (the source details in the ad’s link, including Google’s click ID), used only to know which ads bring enquiries.
- When you work with me: what you send for the project (text, images, access details), and the details needed to invoice you.
- When you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address, only if you tick the consent box.
- When you browse the site, if you agree to cookies: the pages you visit, how you scroll and click, your device and browser, your approximate location, and whether you arrived from an ad. Before you agree, only what the site needs to work is used.
Why I collect it
- To prepare for our call, send you the calendar invitation and a reminder, and reply to you.
- To write your proposal, run your project and send your invoices.
- To send the newsletter, only if you subscribed.
- To understand how the site is used and whether ads work, only if you agreed to those cookies.
I don’t sell your information, and I don’t use it for anything you haven’t agreed to.
Who it’s shared with
Only the services I use to run the site and the work:
- Cloudflare, which hosts cubilani.com, manages the domain and protects the site;
- Google Workspace, for my email and for the calendar invitation and Google Meet link of our call;
- with your consent only, Google Analytics, which measures how the site is used and, if you also allow advertising cookies, whether my ads bring visits;
- Kit, the newsletter service, only if you subscribed;
- the payment service you choose to pay with: Wise, Payoneer, PayPal or your bank;
- my own project system, where your booking answers, enquiry and project details are kept.
These services may store or process information outside your province or country, including in the United States and Chile. They’re used only to provide the service, under their own privacy and security terms.
How long it’s kept
Enquiries that don’t become projects are deleted after two years. Project and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask me to delete your information sooner, unless a law requires me to keep it.
Cookies
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept, reject or choose the analytics and advertising cookies. Until you say yes, they stay off and the tools above don’t load. You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link in the site’s footer.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can withdraw your consent to the newsletter or to cookies at any time. Write to lucas@cubilani.com and I’ll reply within 30 days.
If you’re in Canada, this policy follows Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for Quebec residents, Quebec’s Law 25. If you’re not satisfied with my answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information.
Security
Your information is kept in password-protected accounts with two-step sign-in where the service offers it, and only I have access to it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. Important changes are also mentioned on this page for 30 days.
